Cover Reveal: Proposals and Poison by Rachelle J. Christensen

Proposals and Poison

Proposals and Poison, Wedding Planner Mysteries book #3 Rachelle J. Christensen “Cozy mystery meets romantic comedy in this fabulous, fast-paced story.” Cami Checketts author of The Resilient One, A Billionaire Bride Pact Romance Love can be a very dangerous thing. At least it seems that way to Adri Pyper, the premier wedding planner in Sun Valley, Idaho. When one of her clients dies mysteriously, Adri takes the advice of the local detective and swears she will stay out of the investigation . . . this time. Luke Stetson's involvement in the case, along with the possibility of a kiss between the two, should be enough incentive to keep Adri out of trouble. But when a dog-themed wedding is almost ruined by a suspect, Adri and her assistant, Lorea, are thrust into private eye mode. When poison enters the picture, even a reluctant sleuth can’t steer clear of danger.

Series endorsements “Mystery, suspense, murder and romance all intriguingly tied together in one very fun walk-down-the-aisle cozy mystery!”—Shauna Wheelwright, reviewer “I love a great mystery that keeps my interest and keeps the pages turning. I loved the Hawaiian setting, that was a character on its own. As the story progressed, I enjoyed where the author went with the mystery, doing a perfect job of planting the right amount of seeds to try to throw me off the trail of who the killer was.”—Mindy Holt, reviewer

I promise not to spam you. I only send out newsletters when I have something book-related to tell you. With ten kids, three in-laws, and two granddaughters, life is very busy and very full and I don't have a chance to write as much as I'd like or to produce as many books as I want (I have far too many books floating around in my head), so no need to worry I'll overwhelm you with book news :).

If you know anyone who likes to read clean/sweet romance novels, please tell them about my books, and if they sign up for my newsletter they can receive Best Kind of Love to see if they like my writing style.

Wedding #1

I haven't been very good at posting to my blog. I hope to post more, but I've had some good reasons: weddings. Yes, plural. 2015 was quite eventful for our family. We enjoyed many blessings, one of which was the marriage of our oldest daughter, Angela, in June, to a wonderful young man named Jeff. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Payson LDS Temple in Payson, Utah.

Once in a while, as parents, we get to have parent paydays. For me, 2015 was full of wonderfully happy paydays.

Angela met Jeff years ago in the Latter-Day Celebration Choir at Utah Valley University. She was very impressed when she first met him. He was Joseph and she was Mary on a float for a parade. She spoke highly of a young man who had the "voice of an angel" when he sang. They went out on a date, but life intervened and though they remained friends over the next few years, they both dated other people.

But, Angela could not forget Jeff. She'd even written in her journal shortly after meeting him that he was her perfect match and he just needed to realize that. It took a few years, but they ended up together.

And I agree with Angela, Jeff is her perfect match!
